How long is the lease?
Leases are month to month
What do I need to bring when I'm ready to rent a storage unit?
You need to bring a lock and major credit card to sign in and pay
When are storage rent payments due?
Payments are due on the 1st of each month
Do you prorate the rent?
We prorate the rent if you move in after the 1st of the month
Do I need to supply a lock?
Yes you need to supply a lock
Will I receive a monthly statement?
A monthly invoice will be sent 15 days prior to the first of the month via email. If you are on autopay you will still recieve an invoice showing what you owe and we will take the payment on the 1st
What if my payment is late or my check comes back as Non-Sufficient Funds?
If your payment is received after the 5th of the month, a late fee of $25 will be charged to your account. A bounced check fee is $35.00.
Will I get the security deposit back?
Security deposit will be returned if the unit is left in broom swept condition with no damage and the proper 30 day written notice received prior to the 1st of the month. You can email your cancellation notice to hamburg@steelsafestorage.com
